Before becoming a practitioner of Chinese medicine, I studied and taught human biology and marveled at the intricacies and natural wisdom of the body. I had a life-changing experience with acupuncture when I was 26; after about 4 treatments, my extreme neck pain and dependence on using an inhaler for asthma were greatly improved. Acupuncture had a profound effect on my quality of life. That, my love for medicine, and belief in treating the root cause of illness inspired me to pursue this rewarding career.
The effectiveness of acupuncture and how it works within the body fascinates me; Chinese medicine facilitates healing by teaching the body to heal itself. It does this in a way that promotes balancing and encourages well-being without creating harmful side effects.
This area holds a special place in my heart. I especially enjoy spending time in the Adirondacks. I hope to see you at the clinic!
